i've been quite productive the past few days, if i may say so myself.
tuesday, i baked.
aahhh, i missed having the house smell of a freshly baked cake! i baked my famous lemon poppyseed loaf, and it was divine! i actually baked 2 loaves, but schmuck hoarded the other one. he said he wanted to give some to his friends. being the proud "domesticated" fiancee, i lovingly sliced and wrapped some for his friends. teehee!

wednesday, i shopped!
went to alabang town center with my mom, and we were all over the place. the first store i went to was nine west, where i fell in love with a pair of shoes. two pairs, actually.
this is the first pair, which i bought and took home, of course. niiiice! i sooooo love it!
a little bit of history on the the second pair. have you ever had a shoe moment? this is how it happens. you see a pair of shoes, you like how it looks, and you decide to try it on. at that precise moment when your foot is cradled in the shoe, you know it's yours. THAT is a shoe moment.
now, i had a shoe moment with the second pair, and this was like months ago. but due to my perennial financial challenges, i did not buy the shoes despite the shoe moment. but those shoes were never far from my mind. oh, and mind you, these shoes are red.
anyway, i saw the shoes (again) today...and this time, they were on sale! is that shoe destiny or what?! to make a long story short, i couldn't afford to buy two shoes at a time, nor could i let the shoes go. the saleslady said i could reserve it but only upto 3 days. bummer! so i sweet talked my way into having the shoes reserved till payday. bwarharhar! anything for shoes, dah-lings!
after buying the shoes, i bought some other stuff, then i met up with schmuck. last night was lola puring's 40 days, so we had dinner at their house. they had some guests over, so as usual, i was introduced as the fiancee. teehee! (i'm blushing...)
well, today's another day. gotta catch up on my ZZZzzz's....
